Ausführliche Beschreibung: Near Urbino, in the town of Peglio, there is a recently renovated ancient farmhouse. The villa is composed of 3 bedrooms (2 with en-suite bathroom, 1 with external bathroom) accommodating 6 guests, large living-room with fireplace and a fully furnished kitchen with fireplace. The entire house is decorated with antique furniture and it is bright and nicely-ventilated during the hot summer months; inside the house the temperature is cool because the ancient walls are large. The living-room opens with a beautiful patio over a lovely panoramic garden overlooking the valley of the Metauro River. Parking facilities is also provided. Around the villa there are other houses; near the house there is a grocery, a pharmacy and other stores. In Urbania, distant 4 kilometres, there are many restaurants, supermarkets, banks, a cinema, a theatre, a riding school, two schools of Italian language for foreigners and one ceramics school. |

The town of Peglio is situated in the centre of Montefeltro, at an altitude of approx. 500 mt. , few kilometres from Urbino (20 minutes by car). The scenery is surrounded by valleys with forests and pathways ideal for excursions. The Adriatic Sea is distant approximately 45 km; the beaches are in Pesaro and Fano, 40 minutes by car. Rimini is distant 100 kilometres, one hour by car. From Peglio you can also easily reach famous localities as Gubbio, San Marino, Pesaro (where in August the famous 'Rossini Opera Festival takes place) and other localities of Montefeltro, rich with their history and sceneries: San Leo(beautiful castle where Count Cagliostro was imprisoned and died), Gradara (important castle famous for the history of Paolo and Francesca narrated in Dante' s Divina Commedia ), Furlo Gorge (with two road tunnels dug by the Romans), Fermignano, Piobbico, S. Angelo in Vado, Sassocorvaro. In autumn there are many feasts about the tipical product of this area, the truffle.
