Detailed description: Our B&B Cleto a stone's throw distant from the ancient village of Cleto is the ideal place for relaxing, immerged into pure nature, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It's location in the centre of Calabria allows you to reach all interesting places of this region in the shortest time. We are near the international Lamezia Terme airport, railway, motorway, beautiful Tyrrenian sea and Sila mountains. 10 min from here you can swim in the sea or escape from the crowds into the virgin forest. Cleto is an antique village built on a rock 200 mt. above sea -level. The historic - centre until today has conserved the charm of the past times in (rural) country-life. Going up-hill through picturesque streets you'll also meet antique palaces with small gardens and on the top of the rock you'll see the remains of the big castle with its impressive towers. At short distance from our pension you will find all the most important services like grocery shops, bar, pizzeria and pharmacy. |

We are at 30 km from the international airport of Lamezia Terme. 20 km from the highway Salerno – Reggio Calabria. 10 km from the coast and the tourist port of Amantea. Not far from Cosenza and Catanzaro. And not far from the Eolian islands. By plain: The Lamezia Terme Airport is about 35 minutes distant from Cleto. By car: You easily arrive on the highway NA-RC gateway Falerna and then following the SS18 for 7 km until Campora S. Giovanni, or NA-RC gateway Lagonegro and then SS18 for 100 km direction south. At the traffic-lights of Campora S. Giovanni you take the SS18dir (between Autoscuola and Hotel) in the direction of Nocera T. After 3 km turn left and follow the signs. After 6, 5 km driving uphill you will reach a crossing where you have to turn to the left. From here only 1, 5 km till the centre of Cleto. |
