Our West Indies-style house and cottage are in a secluded part of this out-of-the-way island, which is part of the country of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Detailed description:

The house and cottage offer private, contemporary and comfortable living quarters for individuals, couples or small groups. There is plenty of privacy between the two buildings. The cottage has its own hot tub outside, and the house has a swimming pool. Both houses are oriented to the prevailing breezes coming down off the volcano or off the water.
The main house has a new kitchen, a large screened porch facing the sea, and a patio with views of the volcano and other hills. It has two bedrooms, a sleeping porch and three baths plus a sofa-bed in the living room. Local art work complements the lovely color scheme. At the convenient built-in computer desk with internet access, you'll enjoy an expansive view of the sea. The high vaulted ceilings, traditional wooden awnings, and ceiling fans maximize the cooling Atlantic breezes coming over the mountains behind you.

Description of the area:

The cottage, which rents separately from the house, easily accommodates a couple, or parents with a child. It has a queen-size bed and a sofa bed, as well as complete kitchen facilities. The cottage is built in the traditional West-Indian style, with a high ceiling, local-style wooden awnings, and ceiling fan. Ocean breezes coming over the mountains from the Atlantic provide nature's temperature control. There is a patio in back looking towards the volcano, and a porch in front with a 180° view of the sea. A hot tub nestles in our beautiful gardens, offering a spectacular vantage point for both sunrise and sunset. If you travel with a laptop, you can use our dial-up Interned access. A closet off the patio houses the washer and dryer.

The beach at Black Sand Cove is fifty yards from the house and a hundred yards from the cottage.
