Description of the area:
The village of Los Silos was founded in the XVIth century, in Tenerife, the Canary Island with the greatest variety of climates and landscapes, due to its greater size and changing orography.
The village is situated on a priviledged spot on the north-east coast of the island, and is therefore favoured with exceptionally fine weather troughout the biggest part of the year. This fact greatly enables to enjoy the surrounding leisure facilities, like the 18-hole golf course, managed and designed by the world champion, Severiano Ballesteros, or the salt water pools of Los Silos and the spa resort of Buenavista.
