Situated between the sea and the mountains and in the heart of the Pyrenees Orientales region, Evelyne and Alex welcome you to Castell Rose. It is an impressive pink marble middle class home, which enjoys the benefit of a unique situation, 2. hectares of parkland with centennial trees. The charm and character of the building will seduce you, as will the peace and the gentle rhythm of life in this special place.

In the grounds you will have at your disposal a tennis court, and a swimming pool complying with French safety regulations.
A 5 minute walk will bring you to the town centre of Prades, and using the car you are 40 minutes from the beach and 45 minutes from the ski resorts.
Both the Chambre d’ hôte and the Gîte are rated 4 stars (épis) by Gîtes de France.

At Castell Rose
From 20th May to 15th September you enjoy a refreshing bath in a swimming pool (17mx7m), complying with French safety regulations, take it easy on the solarium or under the shade of a lime tree, or picnic in a convivial ambiance. If you are tempted by physical exercise you can have a game of tennis in a green shady spot, of take part in other games like basket ball, volley ball, badminton, or table tennis. Both young and old will be able to bounce to their hearts content on a giant trampoline. Should you just want to enjoy the peace and tranquillity you can take it easy on a bench in the grounds and listen to the birds singing.

How to to reach Castell Rose
By car : motorway A9 and route nationale N116 from Perpignan. At the entrance of Prades follow Prades centre and cross Prades following the sign for Hôtel de Ville. At the route de Ria (long straight road with plane trees on the left and side) go about 200m and turn left into a narrow road between the Senioriales and the Hôtel de Ville.
From Andorra N116 to the entrance of Prades, after the supermarket Lidl, turn right go along 500m then turn right into a small road. Have a safe journey !
By plane : The closest airport is Perpignan (30mins) Gerona is at 1h30mins
By train : The Prades station is 1 km away, links with main lines in Perpignan.
