Detailed description: We run two autonomous bed-sitters, one (30 sq.m.) with a double bed, the other (40 sq.m) with a double bed and two singles. Each room has its own separate bathroom. The house also comprises a 45 sq.m. vaulted room with kitchen and dining area as well as a mezzanine. We do not usually rent this part of the house. However, arrangements can be made, if you plan to have a self catering holiday. In such a case, the house can accommodate a maximum of 8 poeple. |

Description of the area:
in the Castro: a city without anything moving on wheels, small cobbled lanes, with a main street bursting with commerce; the rest calm and quite with colourful serenity; swimming through the "portello": an opening in the lower defence walls; visit the Byzantine churches , several other monuments and the archaeological museum.
on the mainland: beaches, classical period as well as Byzantine sites including wonderful churches, rich caves, hikes, fish taverns and cafes, night life and local wineries home to the world famed Malvasia wines.
