Detailed description:

Comfortable, light and modern apartment. It consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and a large lounge/dining area with cable TV and balcony.
Bedroom 1 is en-suite and has a new double bed and bedside cabinets plus enormous built-in storage and wardrobe space. It's tastefully decorated with real wood floor and a full-length window with views towards Caniço village and the hills beyond.
Bedroom 2 has two new single beds, double built-in wardrobe, wood floor and full length window overlooking the pool. Kitchen is provided with all the necessities. There is a large new refrigerator and a small breakfast table. The kitchen opens to a utility balcony where clothes washed in the machine. The Dining area is conveniently set right by the kitchen and seats 6 in comfort at a extendable table. The lounge has seating for 4 plus cable TV. The large picture window gives acces to a west-facing balcony overlooking the pool; the ideal place to sit with a drink.

The village of Caniço is in the sunny south of Madeira Island, centrally located between Funchal (12 kms) and about 14 km west of the airport, each way, it's close to the Madeiran motorway, the Via Rapida. The town centre with its shops, cafés and restaurants is just a 10 stroll from the apartment.

How to find us:

Leave the Airport following signs for Funchal and join the Via Rapida (2 lane motorway).
At Junction 16 leave the Via Rapida and turn right towards Caniço.
Continue up the hill following the road as it bends left and climbs.
Continue downhill past a red wall, about 500m to a crossroads.
At the top you have a 'Y' junction; follow the road left over a blind crest.
Turn left and proceed over Via Rapida bridge.
This road has 3 sharp corners, first is right after the bridge, second is left, third is right.
Turn the 3rd corner. 40m on your left is the apartment (address: Ed Canico Plaza. Estrada do Garajau Bloco 3 Apartment 3 A)
You may find it easier to park at the front to unload your bags.
Please note; the slip roads are often very short so please exercise extreme caution especially when joining the Via Rapida.
