House Enzian is situated directly at the entrance of Rauris, central to all shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Our three tastefully decorated holiday apartments are providing beds for 10 and two times 5 guests. The valley-station of the chairlift is about three hundred meters from the house and it is just five minutes walking to the 'Hochalm' cable-car lift and a little bit more to the beautifully situated open-air swimming pool.

Rauris (950m, 3200 inhabitants), because of the prosperous gold-mining in olden days also known as 'golden town', is rich of history and one of the oldest settlements in the East-Alps. Mediaeval gold mining once looted the recourses of this 'Pinzgauer' mountain valley.
Treasure hunters of our time are still lucky - the idyllic national park village lures with historical inheritance of those rural times, an abundance of unspoiled nature and beautiful ski, hike- and mountain biking areas.
