Detailed description: The farmhouse is situated on a hill in a little village called Nagymakfa surrounded by wattle, beech and oak forests. Nature reserve. Very quiet as dead end street. Forest trail to Lake Döröske (3. km) where you can swim. In the village, there are riding stables (from ¤ 10. /h). Roe-deer and deer herds are roaming through the village. There are no fences here yet. On my Website, you will find more pictures. Well-behaved pets are more than welcome. |

Description of the area:
Nagymakfa is situated in the heart of the largest hot springs region of Hungary. The thermal baths of Vasvar, Sarvar, Kehida, Zalaszentgrot, Bük, Lenti, Szentgotthard, Heviz, Zalakaros can be reached in less than an hours’ drive. he price for one day inthe baths is between 2, 5 and 12 euro. Balaton is only 65 km from here. A 20 minutes drive takes you to the towns Szombathely and Zalaegerszeg. Szombathely has a beautiful old town for pleasant shopping. There are also quite a number of dentists. Zalaegerszeg offers not only a thermal bath, but also an Aquapark and a lake where you can swim. You can do your shopping in Vasvar, a little town 6 km away. You can also visit the thermal bath there or relax in the small but delightful beauty parlour (massage of one hour ¤ 10).
