Zirl is set at the heart of the Inn valley, at the foot of the Zirler Berg mountain.

Only few places are as rich in history and tradition as Zirl is. When hiking around Zirl you will step on historic grounds wherever you go. You can now follow in the footsteps of legends and tales.500 years ago the Emperor Maximilian used to hunt here and he got lost and was rescued by St. Martin amid the rocks of Martinswand wall..............
Also Zirl is renown for its Christmas cribs.
