Detailed description: The Golf Resort Torremirona is a real find for the taveller looking for comfort, tranquility and relaxation. Golf in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views is the main activity on offer but the Resort with its Fitness and Spa Center, heated indoor pools, sauna, Tennis and Paddle Courts offers also many possiblities for the non-golfers, including special activitities for kids. The climate during the winter months is mild enough to allow good golfing or other activities like horse riding, biking, hiking etc. Our property has a very big garden with lots of space for children, a large pool and a little fish pond. The area is very beautifull with lots of interesting places to visit. Gourmets will find excellent restaurants right here in the resort and very close by. |

Description of the area:
The beaches of the Costa Brava, Rosas, Llança, Cadaqués, Port de la Selva can be reached in 30 minutes by car. There is the beautifull lake of Bañolas one should not miss to see and you can get there in 20 minutes (boating, hiking, swimming,). The vulcanic landscape surrounding the town of Olot offers adventure activities like hot air balloning. Girona has an impressive historical center, Figueras offers the world famous Dali museum. The medieval village Besalú has lots o interesting monuments including a spectacular real tow bridge.
